Since 2017, the School for Sacred Storytelling has been guiding people through the process of becoming conscious creators of their own stories. This is a home for those who feel called to engage storytelling as a sacred art. We believe stories shape our world, and that in telling and listening to them consciously, we can build strong connections, create new realities, inspire change, and provide space for healing. This is for people who are playing a powerful role in their lives, or want to. At our core, we are a community of storytellers, healers, creators, and seekers, the roles our students play in the world range from therapists, doctors, healers, lawyers. activists, moms, dads, marketing executives— while we don’t share the same world views, we do share a desire to engage storytelling as a powerful tool to build connection, emerge inner wisdom, and bring positive change into the world through every story we tell.
When we meet storytelling as a practice that connects us—to ourselves, our community, the Earth, and the unseen world of imagination. It weaves together the past, present, and future, helping us rediscover both our deepest struggles and our greatest gifts. When practiced as a sacred art, storytelling connects us to something larger than ourselves, allowing us to pass on our gifts across generations through the stories we tell, share, and leave behind.
Our mission is to foster a space where storytelling is honored as a sacred art, encouraging individuals to engage storytelling as catalysts for personal and collective growth. We believe that everyone is inherently a storyteller, and we are dedicated to helping participants cultivate their unique voice. Our holistic approach blends personal exploration with the art of storytelling, integrating traditional storytelling practices, earth-based rituals, meditation, embodiment, and a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of all life while creating a space to have the lived experience of knowing: Your voice matters.
We offer a wide array of courses, workshops, and programs designed to help you tap into the power of your own stories. Whether you are a healer, a leader, a speaker, or simply someone passionate about exploring the power of narrative, you will find tools here to deepen your craft.
• Storytelling as Sacred Practice: Learn the ethics of carrying old stories, how to catch new stories, and how to engage storytelling as a tool for connection.
• Classes with Master Storytellers: Engage with guest mentors of Indigenous lineage and master storytellers who honor the oral traditions and practices of their cultures.
• Creative Writing and Healing Rituals: Explore writing prompts, storytelling ceremonies, and earth-based rituals that deepen your relationship with your own stories and with others.

Grab the reins of your life experience as you transform villains into master teachers and re-cast suffering as initiation. Discover the unique medicine and gifts you have to offer. Music, muse-invoking poetry, articles, podcasts, and the Creator’s Guide to Psychic Silence will support you during this revelatory practice.
Access psychic silence so you can see through the cloud of stories — and see with clarity the stories that you tell yourself and that the world tells you. Learn to trust your intuition and creative impulses as you dance with the muse. We’ll introduce a step-by-step process for clearing your creative channel and understanding your limiting and liberating thought patterns. You’ll unearth what is between you and the full expression of your voice.
Increase your awareness and mental discipline as you explore your consciousness through meditation. Look through the lens of the sacred storyteller as you learn to see through the layers of stories in our time. We will introduce practical methods for memorizing your story that builds self-confidence and stage presence.
We will not attempt to simplify the times we are living in. We are committed to fostering an environment that honors and respects our community as we learn from each other’s stories. Our goals include holding ourselves accountable to be present and generative and to create a supportive community focused on sharing our gifts with each other and the planet.
When you work with Leah, you’ll be guided to engage with story as a tool for personal healing, growth, and transformation. Over the past 7 years, Leah has served more than 1,000 conscious creators like yourself, supported by over 40 guest teachers. Her programs help you unlock the potential of storytelling to liberate your consciousness and express your fullest self.
Leah weaves her professional experience in theater, filmmaking, healing, and wilderness studies to revive the ancient art of sacred storytelling in today’s world. Through her courses, retreats, and workshops, you’ll explore the deep connections between story, earth, spirit, and healing, gaining access to new levels of awareness and mastery over your own narrative.
